RECOGNIZING EMERGING TALENT

This year, NEUF has handed its 2025 Excellence Scholarships to two graduating students from UQAM’s School of Design and Université Laval’s School of Architecture.

At UQAM’s Annuel de design, Alec Chénard received the NEUF scholarship for his project “Les machines rêvent-elles d’un champ de soya?” — a lucid and sensitive reflection on the dehumanization of the agricultural world. And during the ExFA vernissage, Rose Gagnon stood out with her proposal “Les Bains de La Baie”, an evocative concept that weaves together public architecture, memory, and energy loops through the lens of public baths.
