BUILDING WITH WOOD: A CASE STUDY PRESENTED AT THE CECOBOIS CONFERENCE 2026

How can multi-residential wood construction deliver strong performance, meet code requirements, and remain cost-effective? That was the focus of a lessons-learned talk on the ANDAS project, presented by Hugo Gagnon, Lead Designer and Partner Architect, with Sara-Jeanne Dagenais, Designer and Project Manager, at the Cecobois Conferences.
 
ANDAS tested practical solutions — including code-compliant hybrid approaches — while keeping one key question in mind: can this model be scaled up? A hands-on, practice-based discussion to help move wood construction forward in Québec.
