The building’s size is intended to handle the evolving needs of Mirachimi, the largest city in northern New Brunswick. The concrete structure, poured on site, has a capacity of almost 10,000 m², of which 1,830 m² is devoted to the storage of archives.
The distribution of openings in the gray masonry facade balance aestethics with strict environmental and sustainable development standards that have led to its LEED Gold certification.
